Collect clean CSF directly from the rodent Cisterna Magna. 15″ of PE tubing allows for collection of up to 70ul CSF. Pool CSF from multiple mice, or collect from a single rat. The clear PE line allows for visualization of the CSF during collection. Immediately identify any blood contamination and discard only the contaminated CSF. SAI offers a range of catheters and cannula for the collection of CSF and for the administration of compounds to the intrathecal space in mice, rats, canines, primates and sheep . Draw cerebrospinal fluid, or perform intrathecal infusion in the subarachnoid space with these reinforced catheters.
